I am so thankful to God for calling Mrs. J and me to the Hiding Place Ministry Church. It is an exciting place and we are thrilled to be in that position and continuing in the work that Bill and Carolyn Daniel started, it is an awesome challenge and responsibility.

I gave my heart to the Lord in 1968; during a series of events God's Holy Spirit made me realized that I needed God as my own personal Savior. After that day I repented and committed my life to Christ. After a few years of teaching Bible classes and being over the College Dept. at our church, there was a sincere desire to commit my life to the ministry.

In 1973 God showed Joanie and me that we needed to go into full time ministry. We left the home life that we had been used to and went to East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Texas. I gained more insight into the ministry while going to that University and preaching two years in a church nearby; it was a wonderful experience for me and my family. After two years at East Texas University, I completed my degree at Dallas Baptist University receiving my BA degree in Religion with a minor in accounting. The very night of graduation we got a call to go to Colorado and minister. We have pastored in Colorado, Texas and Alaska.

I am blessed by teaching and ministering the Word of God. God has been so good to me and my family; He has taught us many valuable lessons. I can assure you that there is still more to learn as I travel though this journey called LIFE. I cannot praise God enough for the mate he has given me these fifty-one years. I look forward to the futue and believe God has more to come in the days ahead.
